Not so 'Plain Jane!'
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was a French artist, famous for his posters, paintings and prints of Bohemian Paris in the 1890s. This poster features Jane Avril, one of the leading dancers at the world-renowned 'Moulin Rouge.'
My version of his work uses a 'mashup' of his original artwork and my digital process that combines pattern, text, and images to put a new spin on the original. Any images used are in the public domain.
