Hello, I'm Ros and I'm the face behind the brand, The Hill Head Gallery. The name came about because we made a life-changing move from busy Hertfordshire to the tranquil surroundings of the coast. Hill Head is a small suburb between the large ports of Southampton and Portsmouth.

My style has always been eclectic - going with the flow and deciding where each day takes me on my creative journey. It's a huge step away from my previous career in marketing where everything was planned within an inch of its life!

Many people have 'helpfully' said to me in the past that I should focus on one type of style but after decades of trying to conform, I've made peace with who I am as a maker and artist. Chasing whimsy, magic and verbal storytelling is what I've always been about. I hope my work makes you smile?
